Hard Lessons

My client just hired someone that I didn’t present. I had her “on my list” and must have looked at her profile 10 times.

But. I. Did. Not. Call.

Buckle up for a ride on the excuse train:

🚄 Didn’t have enough time to source properly (prioritize)
🚄 Didn’t think the person profile matched what my client asked for (prejudged)
🚄 Thought I had enough great people in process already and didn’t need more (complacent)

I was trying to save time by only calling “perfect” prospects. Sound familiar?

Lesson learned- again. It doesn’t matter how good (think) you are, or how long you’ve been in sales- in the end it’s all about activity and consistent improvement.
